CHENNAI: With Shoaib Akhtar having stirred a hornet's nest, calling Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid "poor finishers" of the game, Harbhajan Singh, seemed in no mood to take the comments lightly.
"I don't know what Shoaib is up to and what made him say so. If you talk about Sachin Tendulkar, obviously I would say that he is not only the best cricketer in India but in the world as well.
Everyone will vouch that Sachin is the best starter and best finisher in cricket. That he is still going strong speaks volumes. Dravid has been amazing in the manner he has batted.
"One should not judge a player just by his recent performances. Dravid is the kind of guy who people would actually stand up and salute for his contribution to Indian cricket."
