A high level meeting of officials of NRI Sabha, Canada has been held in Edmonton on last weekend. In this meeting Advocate B.S.Ghuman Founder Preisdent of the NRI Sabha, Canada emphasised for the need of opening up the NRI Sabha offices in Chandigarh and New Delhi as well. He said ''Punjabi NRIs have contributed a lot to the state's economy and they keep visiting their home country frequently. because they face a lot of harassment in capital cities like Delhi and Chandigarh it is necessary now that offices of the NRI Sabha be set up in these cities."
