Non-resident Uttarakhandis residening in Delhi and the adjoining areas will now be provided with their certificates linked to caste, domicile, permanent resident proof and others in the Residents Commissioner’s office of the Uttarakhand Government at Delhi. This will be ensured through “Janadhar E Service” slated for a launch on December 5 in Delhi.

According to the National Informatics Centre, Uttarakhand, Director Dr Devratan Shukla, the E Jan Sewa is already in implementation at tehsils of the state. He said those Uttarakhandis residing outside the state were facing inconvenience in getting the certificates.
He said trained staff had already been deployed at the Delhi’s Resident Commissioners office for the purpose.
