Amritsar, Friday, February 24, 2012: Nita Ambani, industrialist Mukesh Ambani’s wife, Founder-Chairperson of the Dhirubhai Ambani International School and the co-Owner of the Mumbai Indians cricket team was at Golden Temple yesterday to pay respect and reverence. She also made a visit to the city of Jalandhar to fulfill her promise made to Bibi Parkash Kaur at an awards function in Mumbai last year.
The affable socialite, also known for her initiatives in education and looking after the premier Mumbai Indians cricket team, will interact with Bibi who runs an orphanage, Unique Home, for abandoned girls at the local Model House. She had not only promised to visit the orphanage but also to do all that she could to help her in the noble endeavour. A few glimpses.
