Passport Authority of India is re-introducing ‘Jumbo Passport’ for the benefit of frequent travelers.
We have seen many frequent travelers having 2 passports (36 paged one) stapled together. Now those people can take advantages of Jumbo passports.
The Jumbo Passport will have 64 pages and the cost will be of Rs.1,500/-
The ‘Jumbo’ booklets were issued from 1995 till 2003 and involved manual entry, new format will be a machine-readable type.
