A six-member delegation of the Revenue Patwar Union, Punjab, today met AR Talwar, Financial Commissioner, Revenue, and apprised him of how patwari Mohan Singh was implicated in a false case and suffered atrocities of the Vigilance Bureau, Moga.
Amrik Singh Rai, member, All-India Patwar Union, said Talwar assured the delegation that he would take up the matter with the Chief Secretary so that action could be taken against the guilty. He said they would start stir from March 1 till action was initiated against guilty officials.
